Rooftop views from 616 Lofts on Monroe showcase a beautiful view of the city of Grand Rapids from the south. To the west of the building we can see the Grand River and the historic Sixth Street Bridge.

616 Lofts on Monroe, chapter 4: framing in the lofts

616 Lofts on Monroe is coming along beautifully. Over half of the frame work has already been completed and we are starting to see substantial progress on the electrical work and drywall on the top-most floors.

With this particular project we are working through a phased construction process with our extended Tribe. The projected completion date for the first phase of residential units will be in the fall of 2015.

616 Lofts on Monroe, chapter 2: project debut

On Thursday, November 13, we debuted our plans for 616 Lofts on Monroe. Located at 820 Monroe NE, this 156,000-square-foot building will undergo a nearly $22 million renovation, making it our largest project to date. Upon completion, Lofts on Monroe will feature 40,000 square-feet of first-floor retail, 85 market-rate apartments, as well as rooftop deck overlooking the Grand River. Of the 85 apartments, there will be 51-one bedrooms, 28-two bedrooms and 6 studio lofts.

Stay tuned for further project updates.
